The Members of the SG

The activities of the SG are based on the work of its honorary members. Thanks to the structure of its membership, the society fulfils its goal of acting as a forum for dialogue between science and business. More than half of the 1700 members are executive personnel in businesses, public administrations and associations. About 20 percent of them are scientists. Furthermore, over 300 enterprises of all sizes and from all branches are sponsoring members, among them 100 largest enterprises in Germany. At present, most members come from German-speaking countries, but due to increasing internationalisation, the number of members from other countries is rising steadily. The broad range of professional experience represented by these members enables the SG to welcome experts from all fields to the committees and as active participants at conferences and meetings.
